The Toft Box Project

Well this is the blog we’ve been pretty eager to release. We have some BIG news…

Earlier this year New Forest Containers were selected to team up with BCP Council in their newest scheme. This project is called the Toft box project, an operation designed to rejuvenate Boscombe. BCP Council have designed a box park to provide opportunities for start up businesses. 3 shipping container conversions right on Boscombe beach!  These seafront startups can therefore develop their job and profit initiatives to attract locals and visitors. This is more commonly known as urban regeneration, in effort to transform run down areas into economically productive areas for local communities and tourists. The beach box scheme is part of the second phase of the councils huge transformation to the area

But I guess you want to know about the model, right?

New Forest Containers have designed 3 custom 408 models. 2 storefront based builds and a toilet block.

Designed to encompass a range of different businesses that may occupy the space, they have large marine grade bifold doors, full insulation and internal framing, electrical and water hook ups, and wrap around composite cladding, designed to withstand the elements the seafront will throw at them!

We are looking forward to working with BCP council on this exciting new project!
